Need advice from a woman's perspective. Should I send my confession or let it go?
I'm a male, and before this I had almost no interaction with girls—not even casual conversations.
About 1.5 years ago, because of a certain situation, I became friends with a girl. At that time, I genuinely tried to be as mature as I could. As time passed, I slowly fell in love with her—not just because of her looks, but because of her habits, the way she talked, laughed, and the kind of person she was.
We had a few arguments sometimes, but I was usually the one who apologized because I never wanted to hurt or offend her. Even though I loved her, I never confessed my feelings.
After about a year, I realized I had made several mistakes during our friendship.
For example, whenever she shared a problem with me, I would listen carefully but immediately try to offer solutions. Later I realized that many women aren't necessarily looking for solutions every time—they often just want someone to listen and understand them. I wish I had known that earlier.
There were other things too. I never offered to eat food outside, never suggested going for a walk, never really spent simple quality time with her outside our conversations. Looking back, I think my lack of experience interacting with girls made me miss these small but meaningful things.
Eventually, all these small mistakes added up, and our friendship ended.
She told me something like:
"I also tried to interact with you as a friend, but our energies didn't match. I used to feel exhausted after talking to you, like I was forcing myself to continue the friendship."
I know I made mistakes, and I also know she genuinely tried to make the friendship work. It just didn't connect for her.
She said it would be better if we stopped talking, and she asked me not to contact her anymore.
The difficult part is that, from her side, it was only friendship. From my side, I was already in love. Maybe one of my biggest mistakes was never telling her how I felt.
Now I understand many things I didn't know back then. I even asked her for one last chance, but she refused.
Before everything ended, I had made a beautiful website to propose to her. I still have it on my phone.
Every part of me wants to send her that website just once and finally tell her everything. But another part of me feels that if she has already said she's not interested and asked me not to text her, then I should respect that. As a man, I don't want to ignore her boundaries just because of my feelings.
For the last 6–7 months, I've been stuck in this dilemma.
At the same time, I've been trying to move on, but memories of her keep coming back. Sometimes I dream about her, and sometimes I randomly remember the times we spent laughing and chatting.
I'm not looking for sympathy. I genuinely want to hear from women.
If you were in her position, what would you think?
Should I send the website and confess once, or would that be disrespecting the boundary she already set?
Is there anything I should learn from this experience for future relationships?
I'd really appreciate honest advice, especially from a woman's perspective.
