Disarming attacks are not fair

Why does the enemy ALSO get to land a free hit on me after he disarmed me ? That's complete bullshit, I love this game but this is something that pisses me off every time It happens, I'm playing on custom difficulty: aggressivity on lethal, everything else on difficult, so Its not "just a free hit", that shit ruined a lot f my takezo fights and It does not make sense at all from a combat design aspect.
