someone is about to ram my car from behind. what is the best position to assume immediately?

someone was about to ram my car from behind while i was at the red light. luckily he stopped in time. got me thinking. what would be the best position to survive the collision? do i lean all the way back into the head rest, hands down on the lap? do i lean all the way forward, pressed up the steering wheel?
