what do you think about the songs that gets ranked and songs that aren't getting ranked or be given attention by nominators?

since the beginning of the game, the mapping has always been centered towards japanese music (not just vocals but even producers) but like what do y'all think about the songs that get mapped all the time or maps that dont get ranked despite having a good song (with a good map ofc) or songs that just overall are made to be farm or something etc.? like are they good? like are they overmapped?

for me i do get it sometimes, like the criticism of so many maps that just are unplayed in the ranked section because nobody knows what they even are, like one diff eroge songs or like a compilation of songs that is in a niche game or collection, but for me i mean thats what makes osu unique because of the discovery of music.

im not just talking about japanese music but overall music that gets ranked.
