Welcome to r/AIHotspotApp!

Hey everyone! I'm u/aihotspot, the founder and moderator of r/AIHotspotApp.

This is our official support community, and the new home for all things related to turning your PC into a private AI hub. We are focused on sharing localized AI directly with friends and family. We're excited to have you join us as we build a community around direct, private, peer-to-peer AI!

What This Community Is For

• App Support & Troubleshooting: Ask any questions you have about setting up or using the AI HotSpot application and service.
• Local Models Development: Discuss the best local AI models to run on your hardware, how to optimize them for your setup, and what exciting new models you are testing.
• Sharing Use Cases: Share your unique stories and use cases on how you use the AI HotSpot app to bring your local AI to the people you love.
• Feature Testing: Request new tools, and be among the first to try out and test new experimental features!

What You Can Post

Post anything that you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring. Feel free to share your thoughts, setups, or questions about:

• Which local AI models (like Llama, Mistral, or Whisper) you are currently running and enjoying.
• Creative ways you are sharing your local AI with friends and family.
• Questions about app installation, configuration, and best practices.
• Your experiences with the app's privacy features, knowing that absolutely zero data passes through your external server during the actual communication phase.

Community Vibe

We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing, connecting, and unchaining their localhost.
