Do Hoopla Books Ever Sync?

I normally listen to audio books on Hoopla. Right now I’m reading a book for the first time and I noticed it never syncs the latest page read. I switch between iPhone, iPad, and webpage and none of them sync the page read. I found that bookmarks do sync, so now i just have to remember to bookmark my page whenever I stop reading. This works, but is kind of annoying, and not as good of an experience as I get with Kindle.

Does auto sync’ing work for anyone else? Is there any special setting I need to use?
