After years of conflict across Central Asia, the Republic of Turkestan was finally unified in 1967 under President Nursultan Nazarbayev. According to the official narrative, unification was achieved through the efforts of the new government. In reality, however, Japanese corporations and units of the Imperial Japanese Army played the decisive role, providing the military and economic support necessary to secure the country's unification.

Thanks to large-scale Japanese investment and its integration into the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere, the country quickly became one of the fastest-growing economies in the region.

Although officially a **Corporate Presidential Republic**, the state functions in practice as a **Corporate Dictatorship**, with political power concentrated in the hands of the president and closely intertwined with major industrial corporations and Japanese capital.

By 1970, extensive railway construction, the development of oil and natural gas fields, and rapid industrialization were transforming the country. Despite its impressive economic growth, many regions remained underdeveloped after decades of warfare and political instability.
