Shall I restart my island?

I am considering to restart my island… I am just not feeling it and I also don’t feel like flattening everything and moving everything or so…

But restarting also means…
Losing Gonzo, my all time fav 🥹
Having to remove ALL THE WEEDS BY MYSELF AGAIN
Doing everything else again

I’m a time traveller player, so I’d put my console to a date earlier in the year and start playing day-to-day until I reach the “today”.

But I need advice or reviews from people who have restarted their island.
