First time beanie but went wrong in a few areas so lessons learned the hard way.

I got the pattern Best dude beanie off Knit Picks site and my yarn was too thick compared to the pattern and I neglected to check gauge. And I forgot to the knit/purl the first row so it curled.

Lessons learned. Always check gauge on most wearable items. And check pattern!!

I’m debating frogging but I may just gift to someone with a bigger head 😆
