Need job search advice for someone who is basically always working.

Currently working in junk removal and trying to find another job. I have no idea how to start really. Just to get this job looking for a job was basically a full time job for about 2 or 3 months. I always work mon-thur and sat so my days off are Friday and Sunday. Always starts at 7am. Never know what time I get off. Right when you think you’re getting off you have to drive across town and load up another truck. Looking for some advice on things that I can do quickly to increase my hireability as well as to be able to manage applying and interviewing. I’m not exactly sure what skills I am trying to learn or really what job I’m looking for. Prior to this I was an air traffic controller, I have applied for a few ATC related positions but that is something that is several months away from fruition.
