Unposted CMA Deposit Trapped in Lockbox Exception Queue - Need Escalation

Official Response

Hello. On June 29, I mailed a deposit to Fidelity containing two California State Warrants ($1,387.36 and $2,560.37) along with an account-linked Cash Management Account (CMA) deposit slip. Before mailing, a phone representative assured me that mailing these specific state warrants would be handled correctly with "no problem."

Because these are state warrants that lack standard commercial routing numbers, your automated scanners likely rejected them and routed the envelope to an internal exception queue or banking suspense ledger in early July. I have called customer service four times over the past month, speaking with multiple agents, a manager, and a supervisor, all of whom refused to check the lockbox imaging exception queue or the banking suspense logs for this unposted deposit linked to my account number.

I have filed a formal complaint with the CFPB today, but I am hoping a corporate specialist here can bypass the standard phone tree and get a banking operations supervisor to pull the mailroom intake logs for early July. Please send me a secure message to initiate tracking.
