Hidden unit question for destroyed tanks

So my friend and i ran into a issue i couldnt find a answer to a few days ago and was curious if there was a easy answer. I was playing Chaos Knights and 1 turned his repulsor with my desecrator. This of course caused him to emergency disembark his dudes. Would those dudes now be considered hidden since they are infantry that are more than 15 inchs away from my units?
