Does salt capsule causes diarrhea

I started with 500 mg salt, tolerated it fine.

Once I moved to 2000 mg, I got loose stool and rumbling in gut.

Now, even if I take small quantity of extra salt, my gut does not like it.

Does anyone have similar experience or tips?
