Most efficient anime’s to watch that will help me make friends?

I’ve noticed that most people around my age like anime. So I want to start watching it to make friends in college.I’ve never watched a single show, other than speed racer, which no one I know has watched. I have 24 days till I move into college, and I could probably spare up to 6 hours a day watching anime. With that timeframe, what series should I watch to be able to discuss anime with people and have friends in college
