Chaos Giant Loot from Dragon Pickaxe Grind

Other

2,904 kills and about 7-8 hours later; finally have the pickaxe of life and death (shoutout to luck of the dwarves).

The grind itself is okay. All the loot stacks well and the giants being aggressive with a nearby reset door means it's reasonable to just afk it. The main tilters are the fact that you can get stuff like curved bones (1/5,012.5) and long bones (1/400) which if you're like me you'll see 5 of before a pick drops. All things considered I think the drop rate could've been buffed just a little bit more, maybe around 1/900 baseline or so. The quest requirements being as steep as they are and the fact that chaos dwarves, dwogres, and cannoneers have barely a fraction of the giant's HP should warrant the giants being a more attractive option than they ended up.

From an efficiency perspective, as fast as the prices are crashing buying the picks still seems the way to go. Irons probably do save time in the long run and the loot is decent for any that could use the herbs or fletching/summoning xp. Still, I can't imagine many players that could use the supplies will have the gear to kill the giants at speed given how much health they have.

Anyway I digress. I just wanted to post this to hopefully motivate someone that was on the fence about the grind. It's much better than it used to be for sure.
