Deer Run's 1-year Waranty is a sham - Machine bought May 2025 died 8 months in

We bought the machine May 21 2025. In March 2026 we noticed a large amount of black grit from the machine, and wrote to them a request for technical support. The answers seemed to be from a bot, as it kept on asking the same questions over and over. I finally picked up the phone to follow-up and was told that the 1-year warantee is over and they will do nothing. I spent $400 on the machine and it was less than 1 year old. I bought it directly from the Deer Run website.
