Forget coincidence. Look at the timeline of the government’s moves in the NEET-UG 2026 crisis. It feels less like reactive crisis management and more like a scripted playbook designed to control the narrative, exhaust the movement, and extract maximum political benefit. Here’s the alleged master plan

First they took sonam Wangchuk to hospital to end his hunger strike or Public's outrage on government listening to demands

1. On 19th of July , there were rumors that police did mock drill for what to be witnessed on 20th July - police deploy heavily, lathi-charge protesters marching to Parliament, and forcibly take climate activist Sonam Wangchuk to hospital amid his ongoing hunger strike. This creates dramatic visuals of state crackdown, generates massive sympathy for the students and Wangchuk, and intensifies national outrage. The movement gains even more momentum and media attention.

2. Shortly after, the government announces fast-track courts, special task forces against paper leaks, compensation for affected families, and no cases on peaceful protesters. This shifts the image from "repressive" to "responsive," takes the moral high ground, and starts peeling away moderate supporters from the protests.

3. .PM Modi who rarely drops personal reels on active social controversies suddenly posts back-to-back Instagram reels addressing the youth directly over two consecutive days. First time on such a scale for any domestic social issue. This humanizes the leadership, speaks over the opposition and protest leaders, and creates a direct emotional connection with the young demographic.

Then, seemingly “out of nowhere,” Dharmendra Pradhan announces his resignation. Framed as a noble, voluntary act to protect national unity and students’ futures.

This was never chaotic. It was a controlled burn. Let the protests and hunger strike build pressure → Use force to create a peak crisis → Offer carrots (fast-track mechanisms, assurances) → Deploy the PM’s personal charm offensive on social media → Deliver the big concession (a minister’s head) at the perfect moment.

Was Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation scripted or pre planned after several incidents?
