Calorie Tracking “Hack” for those who hate tracking
Weight loss comes down to calories consumed. End of. I used to wreck myself at high intensity workout classes 6 days a week and still wasn’t seeing the results the same I’m seeing now with this “hack.” The problem was, how do I know how many calories I was consuming?
I tried tracking macros, using my fitness pal etc but I found that all to be so much work. Come January I knew I had to start tracking again if I wanted to be at my ideal weight for my wedding (130lbs). I found a solution that made 15 pounds almost fall off of me in 5 months flat:
-6 Hello Fresh “Under 650 Calories” dinners per week (I split with my fiancé, if you’re cooking for one save half for lunch!)
-3-4 under 650 calorie lunches per week (I get lunch at my office and I opt for Just Salad or Sweet Green, but ONLY the under 650 calories or substitute to make it that way)
It has never felt easier. I’ve done no other restrictions though I do try to opt to eat 1/3 of Yasso cookies and cream ice cream if I want a treat and I switched my coffee mate creamer for Nutpods Vanilla (shaving off a consistent 50-100 calories per day). I also have taken up a liking to La Croix, which has taken place of a lot of my snacking. I still go out to eat with friends, I still have real dessert, I still drink. The only big change was consistently opting for under 650 calorie lunches and dinners for multiple days of the week.
For reference, I’m 5’7 and female, late 20s. Only workout is Vinyasa yoga 3 times per week. I actually was continuing to lose still (got to 126 end of June) but needed to maintain 130 due to my wedding dress.
