Duke secondary question: Describe a situation in which you chose to advocate for someone or for a cause different than yours. Define your view of advocacy. What risks, if any, might be associated with your choice to be an advocate?
Does the "someone" have to be different from me too? Like what if i want to write about advocating for a friend, who is obviously different from me, but we are both black woman? Is this like a grey area, or is that topic fine?
