31 [M4F] #Virginia #Online - Deployed Sailor looking for adventurous lady

Hello everyone!

If you made it this far, thank you — you've already shown more patience than most people my age have for anything that isn't a phone screen. I'm 31, currently in the Navy, deployed, and just looking to talk to someone. Maybe it turns into a daily thing if the vibes are right. No games, no pressure — just conversation, and maybe something that grows into its own thing if we're both into it.

A little about me: 13 years in, currently on my 3rd deployment, so I've had plenty of time to figure out what I actually want — which is apparently just someone to talk to who isn't also in uniform. Caucasian, glasses, mustache, grey eyes, brown hair, 5'10", and enough tattoos that your mother would shake her head at me if she saw me at the family gathering.

I've got a dark, dry sense of humor — witty, sarcastic, and I will absolutely play devil's advocate just to let you get something off your chest, because I find it more entertaining than most TV. Speaking of which, I'm convinced 90s and early 2000s sitcoms were the actual golden age of television and I will not be taking questions on this.

I love photography, reading (sci-fi, mysteries, some fantasy), and I'm enough of a Warhammer 40K nerd that I own more tiny plastic soldiers than is reasonable for a grown man. Big fan of binge-watching something with someone on the couch while we both #notabot agree tomorrow's the day we start eating better, and we both know that's a lie we're comfortable telling each other.

Music-wise I'm open to most things, but I lean metalcore and — I promise this is real — Appalachian possum rock. Grew up in the Midwest on a corn farm, so I've got manners even when my humor doesn't show it.

What I'm really hoping for is someone who adds a little joy into the day-to-day — a bright spot I look forward to, that has room to grow into something real if we click.

You: Caring, compassionate, and fun — someone who can go from comforting to teasing in the same sentence and enjoys the whiplash. A little flirty, doesn't take herself too seriously, and isn't afraid to give as good as she gets. Bonus points if you're a mom (kid stories are basically free entertainment), have red hair, tattoos, or piercings — but honestly, personality does most of the heavy lifting here.
