Electricity/Thermostat Help

Question

For the past 2 months my electricity bill has been skyrocketing. My electricity provider charges 14.2c but I receive a compensation for anything above 1000KW usage(-$150). Previous month: 220, this month: 322

Context:
East facing 3rd floor apt, electric stove and appliances.
Maintenance guy set my thermostat on scheduled (heat and cold at 2F diff)-that bill is $322.
Now I set it to 82F throughout the day only change it to 74F around 10PM until 7:AM. I keep my blinds shut during the heatwave, alternating days to keep the plants alive and healthy. The next bill is predicted to be around 1500-1750 KwH.
Any insights, tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
