Hi all. I wanted to post here to see if anyone has had a similar experience and has any insight for me, or has had a positive outcome. 

I’m 29 (almost 30) and got off long term birth control last August. I started tracking my cycles immediately and noticed I wasn’t ovulating. I had all of the typical bloodwork done, and according to my gyno, everything looked normal. We decided to move forward with trying letrozole to kick start ovulation. I did one cycle of 2.5 mg, two cycles of 5 mg, and am nearing the end of my first 7.5 mg cycle. My 7 DPO bloodwork on the last 3 cycles have confirmed ovulation, but not strong ovulation. My second cycle of 5 mg resulted in blood progesterone of 8.5 ng/mL, and this cycle (7.5 mg) resulted in blood progesterone of 8.6 ng/mL. Seeing the number go up by 0.1 was heartbreaking. I had such a positive start to this cycle (see chart) and had really high hopes. My gyno is now suggesting I see a reproductive specialist to discuss different tests and options. If you have had a similar situation, what were the next steps for you? 

Sorry for the long post, I’ve just really been struggling the past few days after getting those results back and need to get it all out. If anyone has any words of encouragement or suggestions, I would appreciate it🩷

Feeling discouraged/frustrated with blood progesterone levels
