Double stroller query

Looking to get a double stroller that will be able to navigate buses on the N Shore. According to the trans link website, the max stroller width is 24inches, which is way too narrow for any double stroller that I can find on the market.

Anyone any tips for a stroller that works/ how strict trans link are on the size limit? Thanks!
