Is it normal for seniors to make your job harder for you if you get on their bad side?

I thought it’s ok not to get along with everyone, or have differences, but not sure how this affects the hospital environment. I’m having some disputes with a senior whom I live in the same building with, and it’s getting me a bit paranoid with how this would affect me if I end up having a shift with them. Not sure what to do or turn to, because I understand that medicine tends to be hierarchical
