Kenyan students in the Netherlands?

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well.
I (22M) have been studying in the Netherlands for the past three years, and somehow I still haven’t met another Kenyan student. Black students are already quite rare at my university as it is… I’m the only black guy in my year, alongside four black girls, and only two of us actually grew up in Africa.

The only Kenyans I’ve known here were a family friend and his cousin. My family friend has since moved back to Kenya, and I’m not particularly close with his cousin.
I visited my cousin in Berlin last year, and he introduced me to a whole community of Kenyans there. It made me realise I’d really like to meet more young Kenyans here in the Netherlands as well.
