any way to kill a boss (solo) easy that isn't the moose?

Since multiplayer got exploded, i can only do this solo. I have the adventurer rank. i downloaded the game maybe a week ago. all the videos on "killing bosses by getting them stuck" ive tried hasn't worked (probably patched) i just want enough gems for the cougar.
