Has anyone else noticed AI being a little too agreeable when planning trips?

I've been using ChatGPT and Claude a lot for travel lately, and I've started noticing something.

Whether I'm choosing a destination, asking for hotel recommendations, or planning an itinerary, it often feels like the AI wants to support whatever I already seem to prefer.

For example, if I say I like a certain hotel or destination, it'll mention a couple of downsides, but then usually ends with something like, "Overall, it's a great choice."

Sometimes I wonder if it's actually giving me the best advice, or just reinforcing the decision I've already made.

Has anyone else experienced this, or is it just me?
