What laptop do you recommend for an electrical engineering student ?

I’m starting Electrical Engineering soon and I’m looking for a laptop recommendation. I’m considering the Lenovo Legion 5i and ASUS TUF A16. Which one would be better for Electrical Engineering software like MATLAB, Multisim, AutoCAD, and programming? Portability and battery life are also important since I’ll be taking it to university.
