Mark 8:36

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Too much wealth has a tendency to corrupt good character. I'm not trying to convince anybody, this isn't a town hall. It is just a verifiable fact if you take a good look at the world in it's current condition. My treasure is not of this earth. It's in a secure place this corruptible world cannot touch. God never promised anyone an easy life, he did promise to be with us every step of the way. I was never truly alone. To be used by God one must become an empty vessel and get out of the way. God doesn't call the qualified. He chooses and qualifies the called. I'll never have an empty cup. He is the one who fills it and that supply of Living Water is beyond enough, it never runs dry. Never take credit for glory that belongs to The Most High. What happened to Lucifer should tell you God resisted the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Before honor is humility.
