Is it normal for your gender identity to change during kin-shifts?

I’ll try my best to explain it, but do not hesitate to ask for more information/clarification!! Apologies if I am using the incorrect flair ,, 🤍

For the past few months, I’ve been questioning if I was a fictionkin. I currently believe I am a psychological polykin of sorts, since my experiences do align with the experiences of others in this community. However, I noticed that, with both of my kins, my gender identity shifts as well, in a sense of the word.

I’m aware that many people have kins whose source is the opposite gender, but when shifted, I specifically see myself as a cis man. I am a cis woman and have never had any personal desire to identify differently ,, I have already explored my gender identity and I have come to the conclusion that I am happy as I am, so it’s very disorienting to suddenly be AFAB during stronger shifts,, I do not experience any major discomfort! Just a brief sense of confusion ,,

Is this normal? Specifically the cisgender part, as that is where most of my concern is. Because, logically speaking, I am not AMAB🥹🌻,,
