Um, wow

I placed my first ever order from Doen in the recent warehouse sale. I'm going to be honest, I thought Doen was an overpriced influencer brand. But there were some cute things in the sale at good prices, and I needed new basics, so I got 9 items to try.

Wow. My items just arrived and they are fabulous. The cut is so flattering. The fabric of the items feels so good - especially the 2 Hawthorn turtlenecks and the Marlowe cashmere sweater. I have never had a cotton shirt that feels so good in my hands. The Iona shorts are shockingly flattering (yes, I know these are a total influencer favorite, but I get it now).

The only thing that was a miss were the Diana jeans, which I think may have been mistagged, because they are so small that they can't fit over my hips, even though the other Doen jeans I ordered in the same size are too big on me.

In general, though, I loved this order. I've been looking for high quality basics that are a little interesting/have a little flair for a long time, and the Marlowe, Hawthorn, Vivi, Iona, and Malin mules delivered.

I am not usually a "post a rave about a brand online" kind of gal, but damn, I am impressed. I get the hype now. I hope Doen keeps the materials and cuts this high quality instead of coasting on their reputation and lowering quality like a lot of similar brands have done. I'll be a repeat customer for sure if they do.
