Small PT clinic owners: What EMR are you using in 2026?

Discussion

Our clinic grew significantly during the last year, and we now struggle to manage the constant switch between different systems for scheduling, documentation, billing, and insurance verification. It is getting harder to continue doing this administrative work in separate programs instead of having one united software where I was able to perform most tasks without switching tabs several times per hour. It has become a serious issue as I start to spend more and more time on paperwork than seeing actual patients.

I have been observing the market for a while and studying the offers from WebPT, Prompt, Jane, SPRY, and others. Each solution has its pros and cons, and I am now trying to understand which one can be integrated into my existing workflow with ease while offering enough power to reduce administrative tasks.

I’m also interested in hearing about your overall experience after using your EMR for a while. Has it actually reduced your administrative workload and improved day-to-day operations, or did it introduce new challenges over time?

The fact that SPRY unifies physical therapy EMR, PT billing, scheduling, and AI scribe into one united solution is highly attractive and makes me wonder what exactly other clinic owners think about this technology. Perhaps I am missing something obvious, and it is not as good as it theoretically should be for my practice.

Therefore, I want to ask other small PT clinic owners what they are using in 2026 and would have chosen for their own practice if they had to decide on the same day as me.
