Major Hours cut

I’ve been at my Target for close to 3 years now, I used to be a Closing Expert but they would have me do OPU like half of my shift because we never schedule enough people, and eventually I started getting OPU and Closing expert shifts added to my schedule.

During this past performance review I was told by my TL that I was not the greatest and Closing Expert tasks like pulling and pushing, but that I was one of the top performers for OPU, so I asked to be moved full time to OPU and they agreed that would be the best fit.

I was told to make a new schedule and change my availability if I wanted to get transferred departments so I did. And I had 40 hours of desired availability, first couple weeks of the new schedule i’m getting anywhere from 30-40 hours on my time card. Fast forward to now and my schedule this week is 23 hours, then drops to 20 hours next week, then on the most recent schedule that came out i’m only scheduled 10 Hours.

I would understand the hour cut if I was a poor performing team member, but that’s simply not the case. The past couple months I have worked multiple weeks with only 1 day off and my store constantly calls me on my off days to get me to come in because they cant make a good schedule for the life of them, and recently I have just been ignoring the calls from my SD or ETLs to come in on my off days, so im wondering if this could be some type of retaliation tactic? Not sure im just super confused

I’m going to tell my ETL that i’ll have to find a new job if my hours are going to stay like this because I can’t pay bills making 200$ a week.
