Should I choose Ireland for my masters ?

Hi everyone,

I'm a 22-year-old from India planning to pursue my master's in Ireland. The course there is a much better fit for my career than my other option, the Netherlands.

However, some people I know have warned me about racist incidents against Indians, especially after the recent reports of a 6-year-old Indian girl being assaulted in Ireland.

They also told me, "You don't even socialize much in India. How are you going to adjust in Ireland?" Since I'm naturally quiet and introverted, it has made me question my decision.

That said, I don't think it's fair to judge an entire country based on the actions of a few people. I'm sure most Irish people don't support racism or these kind of attacks .

My plan is simple: finish my master's, work for 3–4 years if possible, and then return to India.

what would you honestly recommend?
