Any reason Overcast doesn’t support chapter auto-skip?

I’ve sent this feature request a few times over the years but never got a response, so I figured I’d ask here.
One thing I really miss from Castro is chapter-based auto-skip. You can select which chapter types (ads, intro, outro, etc.) should be skipped, and it just works automatically.
It feels like a pretty obvious feature for Overcast. It’s optional, uses existing chapter markers, and is much better than fixed intro/outro skip times.
Has Marco ever commented on why this isn’t implemented?
