Best Area to Stay for a Concert?

Hey everyone!

We’ll be in Denver for a few days in late August for a concert. We’re trying to decide whether to stay at a hotel downtown, or stay in another neighborhood where we could rent an Airbnb and take RTD to Union Station.

Are there any areas you’d recommend that have good restaurants, bars, and things to do while also making it easy to get downtown on RTD? Or would you recommend just staying downtown?
