Hacking a Soundcraft Board

Has anyone ever tried to “hack” a SI board to add RTA or other useful features, now that Herman has given up on the product line? I know about Chris Noedling for the M/X32.

Their website mentions a “yotta” board but I’m not sure if that’s a FPGA or GPCPU or the Linux distribution yotta Linux.
