Navigating Between Pages | Scrolled to Footer

Thank you in advance for the help!

I am having a weird scrolling/navigating issue. For example, when I am at the homepage, scroll down to the projects section, click a project and navigate to its page, then hit the back button on my mouse, I end up at the footer of the home page, instead of at the previous section I was at or at the top.
