Struggling to keep up with maintaining vyvanse

Vent & Rant

So I started vyvanse 5 months ago and have been at my current dose of 40mg in the morning and 20mg booster for almost 2 months. (Also on wellbutrin for a year and a half). In a lot of ways vyvanse has been really amazing. Especially when I do everything right. By right, I mean eating consistently throughout the day, drinking water, sleeping enough, going to the gym, etc. I dont feel as chronically exhausted, tasks actually feel possible, I can listen to people and read things, and so on.

My issue is, Im finding it really hard to actually do all those things to make vyvanse work. My life is extremely busy with my last year of school, work, clinicals, and trying to be social, and get time by myself to recuperate.

Idk I just feel like its so hard having a schedule that varies so much with this medication. I do really love this medication when it works. But when I dont start my day right I get so overstimulated, tired, obsessive about the wrong things, and sometimes a little apathetic. I know what I need to do to in my lifestyle to help the meds work, but I feel like just simply how my life is and how different everyday is, it makes it very difficult to maintain all these things.

If anyone has tips, tricks, words of advice, or even want to share their own situation I would love that. Being diagnosed with adhd and starting vyvanse has been crazy and unexpected. Nobody in my life understands or relates to any of this, so Id love to hear from other people
