Would I be in the wrong not to pay my share of expences for a bachelorette in full?
(I apologize for any language mistakes).
Hello everyone, I will try to keep it short and as clear as possible.
My firiend is getting married. Her maid of honor threw her a bachelorette party I was invited to. Of course the expences will be divided between all the braidmaids.
We were given a short plan of what to expect from the maid of honor. But as in came out after we started our voyage she did not mention an important detail. And we did not get the estimate of spendings beforehand.
So I didn't drink and I don't eat meat.
There was of course a lot of alcohol and we went for a fancy dinner featuring quite expensive steak and of course there was a lot of meat grilling. She booked the hotel and an rbnb without consulting the rest of us (I assume the only one that had a say in it was her close friend that's also in the group. And to clarify I knew just the bride, I didn't know the rest of them from before).
Turned out there was a jacuzzi planned for the rbnb, that I couldn't go into as I have gotten a new tattoo a day before.
Which I would not get if I knew.
The party happened over the weekend. She is gonna send us the money requests sometime during the week.
Now seeing the places we stayed at and everything all together I am worried this will come out as very expensive.
And couldn't even enjoy the trip fully.
I really feel like I should not pay for the alcohol and the meat.
Should I just leave it, or ask her to lower my share?
