Racoon Kit

I have read the FAQ.

I have a mama racoon who I have been feeding throughout her nursing and within the last week, she just started bringing her kits to me. Last night I was giving the kits some marshmallow treats after their food and one of the babies was very excited and nibbled on my pink for a second thinking it was the food. I immediately cleaned my finger for 10 mins. I had a red mark but no blood was drawn and I don’t see any skin breaks. There is a little skin abrasion but I can’t be certain I already had it. Fast forward to today and I’m starting to panic a little. I’ll post a pic of my finger and I caught the nibble on camera bc I was recording for my daughter. Do you think this warrants a trip to urgent care?

And no, I will no longer hand feed. Lesson learned.
