Who wants to join a group chat for ambitious students working on AI research, startups, and tech?
Hello, I realized that I don't have friends who are genuinely obsessed with things like machine learning research, algorithm bias, building products, AI ethics, academic competitions, or actually trying to get into top universities. Most people around me are just trying to get good grades and move on. But some of us are building things. Actually investigating problems. Thinking about how technology shapes the world. And honestly, that's rare.
So I'm starting a group chat.
The point isn't to study infinite hours a day or optimize every second. It's to actually do things together. Real things. We're going to share opportunities as we find them (research programs, scholarships, competitions, internships, funding). If you stumble across something good, you throw it in. We're going to help each other write applications and essays. Not by rewriting your work, but by talking through what you're actually trying to say and making it stronger. We're going to do peer learning around whatever you're working on, whether that's a research question, a product idea, or an essay. We're building a real network with people from different countries and backgrounds who are thinking about these things at the same level.
If you're a high school or college student working on AI research, startups, ethics, building products, or getting into top universities, you probably belong here. Whether you're already deep in a research project or you're just starting to figure out what you want to work on, this is the place. You might be in a different timezone or a different country, and that's actually the point. We need different perspectives.
Comment below if you're interested, or send me a DM. If enough people want in, I'll set it up.
