I'm going to live away from home for the first time but will be with roommates. Any advice on how I could prepare myself?

Pretty much the title. I'm 23 and moving away from my parents for the first time. Come from a south Asian household so parents kind of... do everything for kids. So, I didn't do very much house work growing up. I'm going to be honest. Any advice however on just how I can prepare myself so it doesn't hit me like a bus would be much appreciated.
