I'd rather have Korra having purposefully destroyed the world

SpoilerDiscussion

I'm not positive that the creators have much left to give (good writing wise) or that they're capable of properly "redeeming" Korra in the eyes of the many people who hate her with no good reason.

Most Korra haters don't have a good reason from what I've seen and trying to appease them will lead to a mess and probably contradict many things because they dislike who Korra is at the very core.

So I would rather have Korra having decided that her society is just self destructive threat to themselves and everything else and decided to nuke them or something. Maybe even just tried to humble them/knock them down a bit and with their arrogance they were not prepared to rebuild themselves properly against the spirits and nature, leading to years of rolling downhill.

What do you think? Should they try to "redeem" her?
