Legs after a long drive.
Hey everyone,
I run a U/L split and have legs always landing on Tuesday, corporate job now has me travelling for a project site Tuesdays, I have no issue with that but doing legs same day but would a 2 / 2.5 hour drive affect my performance at all? Would I be better off changing gym routine? It’s just that due to scheduling, it works out the best this way.
If it’s fine. Anything to be precautious about? I don’t want to skip the workout, but I also don't want to snap my lower back on squats.
How do you guys handle lifting after a long drive? Should I just spend an extra 15 minutes warming up/stretching, or should I swap out heavy compound lifts for machines today?
Appreciate any advice or warm-up routines that work for you!
