Frustration after a phone call with Grandma

My grandmother was calling me (male, turning 23 in 2 days) and I picked up. She said that the reason for my job/academic failures and why i still don't have a license right now is because i'm always afraid and i lack a desire to change. she repeatedly calls ADHD and lifestyle habits (e.g. sleeping late) excuses. Then she hears me sigh, because I feel heavily invalidated. "I know you don't like hearing this but I'm your grandmother and I'll tell you this even if you turn out to dislike me." "You're a boy, be strong. Don't be afraid to get that license... stop delaying yourself" i lied that i've completed the online course and did a couple weeks of in person lessons but i haven't even completed the course, because I've been struggling with what you previously mentioned.
