Overtuned?
How many enemies can be crammed into a single area? The Vents at Looks To The Moon answer that question.
A LOT.
I have not seen a region so chaotic as this approach has been. It's absolutely brimming with stuff that wants to kill you at every step.
And the question is why?
I've long since detached myself from failure in this game, but this place is ridiculously overwhelming at times. I think the amount of spiders is simply outrageous. Fighting with Strawmaster is incredibly fun most of the time, although the challenge in this area feels very artificial. I enjoy doing level design, so I can't help but feel this area has a higher degree of random nonsense and could have used more balancing. Getting through it is a slog. Once you are inside Looks To The Moon proper it's a welcome reprieve, yet it seems like due to their failing state the approach could have been stretched out a bit more into the interior and tuned down a bit. The antigravity appearing a bit further into the structure would indicate the severity of the situation even more. That way the narrative is also better served and the initial challenge isn't brief and overwhelming, but measured and adjusted to better serve the purpose of the region.
