What is dating culture like in the Philippines?

I downloaded a PH dating app just to see what it’s like and who i’d match with. I’m matching with some decent girls but some of them have NBSB (No Boyfriend Since Birth) or saying they haven’t been touched. Is this normal culturally for them or just something they lie about?
