Help me find this game?

My dad used to play this game a long LONG time ago and I barely remember anything about it and I know that will make finding this game very hard. My dad recently passed and im trying to find things he used to enjoy via computer games and music and such..

Basically it was a really old pc game, I THINK it had like click and pull for the map and dungeon crawling of sorts. There was also a feature in the game where you're a floating hand or something and you control goblins and make them work and there were like... molten metal pits around the room... again, it was a long long time ago and I was little so maybe I imagined it.. who knows. If this shot in the dark comes up with results somehow.. I'll be eternally grateful
