Gpu error code 43

I have a laptop with integrated an gpu (on ARM architecture not sure if that's relevant) and today after clicking update and restart the screen became quite stuttery, the fps dropped on just the home screen and the brightness is set to max. After some investigation i found that on the device manager the gpu icon has a yellow triangle and on status it says windows stopped this device because it reported problems (code 43). The currently recognized graphics card is Microsoft Basic Render Device. What can I do?
